More about the Kruger National Park and our Kruger Park Tour Packages
The Kruger National Park is one of the greatest wildlife conservation areas in the world. It also happens to be one of the oldest. The Kruger Park safari has been thrilling guests for almost 100 years and continues to be the ultimate way to see all the park has to offer. Home to the Big 5, countless other animal species as well as numerous lookout points and historical structures, booking a Kruger Park Tour package is a popular choice.
Our packages offer everything you could need. Specifically tailored, our Kruger Park Tour packages are designed to provide an unforgettable experience. More than just a day tour is recommended because the more time you spend in the park, the more opportunity you will have to see animals.
The southern region of the park is the best place to have a Kruger Park tour. This part of the park is well-known for having large animal populations. A drive down one of the southern roads could present you with all kinds of sights, including the Big 5. The northern reaches of the park can be very remote and can require quite a bit of travelling. For this reason, we like to keep our Kruger Park safaris confined to the southern regions. This allows us to give you a fantastic full day safari, with enough time to get you back to your luxury accommodation for an evening of relaxation.
When to visit the Kruger National Park
Generally, the best time of the year to have a Kruger Park safari is during the winter months. With cooler weather and very little chance of rain, you are likely to see more animals while being comfortable in the back of a safari vehicle. This is not to say that you won’t be enjoying plenty of sightseeing during the summer months. If you are planning on going to the Kruger during the summer, keep in mind that not only is the weather hot but the days generally end with a thunderstorm. You should also know that the grass is longer in the summer, which can limit sightseeing.
How many days should your Kruger Park safari take?
This is completely up to you! Depending on your tour package, you could spend up to a week enjoying Kruger trips and seeing all of the animals you have come to see! Another factor that can affect how many days you spend on safari is where you are planning on going. Those who self-drive to the north of the park will certainly need more than 4 days in the park, while those travelling either by themselves or with a safari company, to the central and south of the park, can spend anywhere between 2 and 7 days.
What is important is that you have a fulfilling experience, and you can achieve that regardless of how much time you spend in the park.
Kruger Park Accommodation
What most companies refer to as Kruger Park accommodation is actually outside of the park. Most Kruger Park safari guests will have luxury accommodation in the nearby town of Hazyview. This is included as a part of your Kruger package. Lodges in the area range from high-end luxury 3 or 4 star lodges, to comfortable backpackers accommodation.
Along with Kruger accommodation, your Kruger Park safari package will also include certain meals as well as other comforts. Before booking your package, make sure that you have selected the one that will meet all of your requirements and expectations.
